We have a manufacturing history of nearly 80 years. The company was founded in the year 1929 in Ellenburg near Leipzig. Since 1948 Märtens Transportbänder has been based in Flensburg.

Our success is the reward for creative and customer-oriented business which was already established by the founder Hans-Wilhelm Märtens. The cornerstone for the successful development was an idea: the bottom of the products which were conveyed on Märtens conveyor belts showed the producers logo.

The requirements of our customers have constantly increased during the past decades. Therefore we focus not only on new technologies and environment friendly production processes but also on extensive quality management.

CEO Wolfgang Polnikow explains the Märtens philosophy: "from an idea of the customer we evolve a product which is entirely specific to their special wishes".

Today nearly 80 employees produce conveyor belts for customers in more than 70 countries.
